A Meaningful Growth and Change
Do you tend to be hard on yourself, often feeling exhausted and on edge? Has it been hard to reach out and explore supportive therapy due to the fear of judgment, fear of change, and doubt? These are common reasons for neglecting your mental wellness. However, it is a strength and a valid responsibility to receive emotional support. Highly accomplished individuals who appear to have it all figured out are also in need of emotional support, and it’s not a weakness. I specialize in working with student doctors and other professionals in stressful work cultures who are dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other treatment approaches. My style is interactive and non-judgmental so that you can be comfortable in the process of gaining insight about yourself, develop healthier ways of thinking, and establish long-term coping skills. The therapy is client-centered out of respect for your specific needs.
From all sessions attended, you will feel heard, and it is essential and empowering to attain insight and awareness about yourself for meaningful change and growth. Our sessions will come with an increased understanding about your ways of thinking and how it has an impact on the management of your emotions, your responses, and the decisions you make.
Fredrick Douglass said, “If there is no struggle, there is no progress”. The path to optimal mental wellness is at times not a walk in the park, and I look forward to supporting you in this journey.
